The 7 Primary Chakra Points

Seven Main Chakra points

The chart on the left gives you a visual idea of where to find the seven main chakras that rest along our central body meridian. Below you will find a brief explanation of each chakra, starting with the base and moving upwards along the spine.

Base Chakra

Base Chakra This point can be found at the very base of your spine, and relates to stability, security and groundedness.

Sacral Chakra

Sacral Chakra This point can be found about two inches below your belly button, and relates to creativity, joy and enthusiasm.

Solar Plexus Chakra

Solar Plexus Chakra This point is in the center of your diaphragm, and it relates to personal power, expansiveness and inner growth.

Heart Chakra

Heart Chakra This point is found directly in the center of your chest and relates to love, devotion and higher emotional being.

Throat Chakra

Throat Chakra This point is at the bottom of your throat, above the collar bone, and relates to truth, trust and communication.

Brow Chakra

Brow Chakra This point is centered in your brow, above and between your eyes, and relates to intuition, clarity, and higher mindedness.

Crown Chakra

Crown Chakra This point is atop and in the center of your head and relates to oneness and higher consciousness.

Laying on of Stones

Lay out your chakra stones in order from the base chakra to the 8th chakra overhead.

  1. If you have a selenite wand, lay it on the side of the spine opposite to the chakra stones.  This will help to align all the chakras and adjust the spinal vertebrae.
  2. Sit on the base chakra stone, and slowly lie down, rolling your spine over each stone in turn.  This will become easier with some practice.
  3. Have your duplicate set of tumbled stones handy.  Massage some of each chakra oil into  corresponding area on front of body.  Lay stone over area, rolling stone over and over, massage in a counter-clockwise direction first, then switch to clockwise to empower the chakra with energy.

As you are using the oil and crystal on each chakra, envision the color of the chakra.

  1. Alternatively, you can wait until the chakra points on the back of the body are empowered and then use those stones to balance the front of the body.
